PERTH SOUTH LAUNCHES 2022 PRE-BUDGET CONSULTATION SURVEY

Perth South, Ont., October 6, 2021 – Perth South invites property owners to share their thoughts on the 2022 Operating and Capital Budget by participating in the 2022 Pre-Budget Consultation Survey from October 1, 2021, to October 28, 2021.

Perth South’s Council is always very interested in engaging the public and this budget survey is a great opportunity for further engagement.

The budget survey provides estimated annual household costs for municipal services and then asks how satisfied they are with the services provided and to rate their overall perception of the value for their tax dollars. Taxpayers also have the ability to rank services that are most important to them.

Information collected from the budget survey will help provide Council with a better understanding of spending priorities and the degree to which current services are valued. The survey findings will be summarized in a report to Council at the November 2, 2021, Council meeting.

The survey is available online at Perth South’s engagement website www.getinvolvedperthsouth.ca or a printed version can be picked up at the Township’s office in St. Pauls.
